Prof. Abdul Hameed is a distinguished professor at the University of Management and Technology, Lahore. He served as Dean, School of Social Sciences and Humanities for 7 years. He earned his PhD degree from the Ohio State University, Columbus, USA where he received special award on academic excellence. Prior to UMT, Dr Hameed served as Chairman Department of Special Education, University of the Punjab for 14 years. He initiated the movement for inclusive education in the country. He is author of over 60 research articles and was a keynote speaker in several national and international conferences. He a member of Board of Directors of Comparative Education Society of Asia.

He extensively visited over two dozen countries across five continents. He is internationally recognized consultant of special/ inclusive education.
